Not so long ago, in a student bar not so far away, two guys were sitting around trying to think of ways to take over the world... Those two guys were none other than Danny Murray and Cian Taaffe. The two concocted a plan to put together the best radio show ever made, and once the listeners were lulled into a false sense of security, they would turn to the ways of the super ninja, to raise an army from the listeners... an army of fans... The two quickly realised they would not be able to do it alone and would need a third person, just to help them deal with all the behind the scenes radio stuff. They wanted someone of upmost intellegence and stunning beauty, to become the third member of their team, but when they couldn't think of anyone that filled that criteria, they approached Edel Haraghty to help them take over the world. Of course, Edel said yes, it's not like she had anything better to be doing. Together the trio came up with a name for the show by combining two things loved by human beings worldwide, Late Nights and Breakfasts, and that's how they came up with The Late Night Breakfast. They soon realised however, that it would take more than three of them to present the show, as they were far too lazy to do more than one show a week and they had been slotted in for five shows. They set out to find 9 unsuspecting candidates to join them as presenters on the show and soon Conor Sharkey, Andy Molloy, Rachael Walsh, Rob Palminteri, Sarah Doran, Cian McKenna, John Heaney, Catherine Murnane and Laura Reynalds completed the team of 12, that would from that day forward be known as the Late Night Breakfasteers... And that is how the Late Night Breakfast came to be... Welcome in, have a look around and don't forget to listen to us, Monday-Thursday @ 7.30pm on Belfield FM...
